ActioNet has been providing support to the Department of Energy (DOE) since 2000, and our support has increased because of the superior services and products we have provided since that time.

We worked with DOE in identifying and re-engineering business processes and then automating manual survey processes through developing a Web-based electronic survey data collection system. We deployed the first Internet Data Collection application in under 5 months. The Multi-Tiered Internet Data Collection Architecture was built using an IBM Enterprise Server, Oracle and J2EE Technologies.

This Web-based survey system has revolutionized the way the EIA conducts its many surveys increasing response rates, accuracy, and ability to provide timely analysis and results, as well as reducing costs to administer the surveys. Our work with the electronic survey won us the 2001 DOE CIO IT Quality Award for Technical Excellence. This project was also featured on three separate occasions in JavaWorld, the leading e-Magazine for J2EE technologies.

In addition to our electronic survey support, ActioNet also provides Infrastructure support that includes network, security, and help desk support. Our staff participates as part of the DOE Team and ensures that the infrastructure is continuously operational and secure.

"…ActioNet…has provided an outstanding level of service to our organization in the areas of e-Government Solutions….redesigning our Survey Business Process. The redesigned process would leverage Electronic Data Collection as a means for collecting and disseminating information submitted by our survey respondents, who represent Energy organizations around the world. Previous survey systems… took years to deploy at a high cost without yielding a good viable product. ActioNet was selected by our organization based on its reputation of developing award winning e-Government” for a reasonable cost. The first system they developed was completed under a tight time frame of five months and a small budget. In this short period of time, ActioNet designed an Enterprise Architecture based on existing hardware and software investment, worked with the Program Office to define the system requirements and developed the system in time for the new fiscal year…. we won a DOE-wide award, and have been profiled in industry leading technology Web Sites for Technical Excellence and Project Management. As a result, …we received the DOE CIO IT Quality Award for Technical Excellence for 2001….highly recommend ActioNet as a Solution Provider for your organization. They bring to the table a strong focus, a solid work ethic, and a deep talented staff with the ability to quickly adapt to the changing needs of an organization and its business requirements."
