Process Improvement -
The Road to Quality

Process improvement is not a passing cloud of hopes at ActioNet, Inc. Process improvement is constant, ongoing, self-reflective and corrective, and a natural part of achieving the pinnacle. It is developmental quality assurance whereby nothing is left undone or half done. The process includes time for reviews with the ability to make the required adjustments to achieve goals with the bar set very high.

We all have our strengths and limitations, but the greatest strength is the belief that there are no limitations. We can always strive to be the best. A compromised system, whether human, mechanical, or IT, offers little progress, efficiency, effective application or excellence of production. It is for these reasons that ActioNet refuses to take the road of compromised processes.

After being externally assessed at SEISM CMMI® Maturity Level 3, ActioNet is also working toward meeting the International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001:2000. One essential facet of Process Improvement is an ongoing program of comprehensive documentation.

At the start of any project, ActioNet sets the preliminary necessities into motion. Documentation consists of plans, feasibility and cost studies, as well as risk analyses. Through a set of processes, documentation continues on with a detailed critical inspection through every phase of the project. "Living" documents are composed and maintained that record every aspect of a project from its inception, while in progress, and as it culminates in a set of final back-end evaluations and user materials.

These processes assure constant accountability, review, remediation, and historical information is captured. Processes, documentation, and information allow for replication of success. Following ISO 9001:2000 standards, ActioNet has established processes for its clients which improve timeliness, costs, and assure an excellent product.

ActioNet views its customers as part of that success; as strategic partners striving toward quality. Within this universe of common goals where all are motivated to produce uncompromised excellence, ActioNet is determined to fulfill the promise of not only meeting, but exceeding expectations. ActioNet and the customer will become a dynamic team.

All of this is impressive, but quality is not only happening in view of the client. ActioNet has also succeeded in streamlining its back-office processes such as accounting, recruiting, purchasing, and other corporate activities. As a result, this broad and comprehensive approach to process improvement provides for timesaving, cost saving, and highly efficient operations from the moment a project is undertaken to the final deliverables.

Needless to say, this kind of quality does not occur by accident. By continually being an introspective community and focusing on the client’s needs and requirements, ActioNet has no limitations. This is what we do and who we are. Feels good, doesn’t it?
