as 2004 Minority Small Business Person of the Year

FAIRFAX, VA – September 23, 2004 – ActioNet announced today that its President & CEO Ashley W. Chen has been named the 2004 Minority Small Business Person of the Year by SBA's Washington Metropolitan Area District Office. This prestigious award recognizes leading small and minority businesses that have an entrepreneurial spirit and contribute to the growth of the economy and their communities.

The award will be presented during the National Capital Minority Business Opportunity Committee’s "Minority Enterprise Development Day" event on October 6, 2004 at The Newton-White Mansion in Mitchellville, MD. The theme of 2004 is "Achieving Success through Contracting & Financial Partnerships." This year’s guest speaker is Ralph Thomas, NASA Assistant Administrator.
