The client required a mobile management overhaul to meet the specifications document for a large federal agency.
In the span of two weeks, ActioNet was asked to deliver the best solution, after evaluating leading vendors and their ability to effectively achieve the requirements on time and on budget.
While our ActioNet360® approach is template and process driven, it goes well beyond mere application of an assessment approach. Our approach combines a deep library of real world use cases, research reports from industry leaders in quantitative and qualitative technology assessments along with our ActioNet subject matter experts that have broad industry knowledge in multiple technology vendors and hands-on experience developing solutions. Using our 41 page requirements document developed in response to this customer request, we assisted our customer further by developing implementation cost projections for the top five leading vendors our requirements report identified. All of these solution cost estimates were offered utilizing our “as a service” approach, allowing our customer to avoid up front capital expenses, and base their decision only on policy and technical needs. These comprehensive cost estimates included all necessary hardware, software and device licensing costs, based on a per unit basis, adding further value and cost avoidance for our customer.
Utilizing our proven, ActioNet360® assessment methodology, ActioNet was able to meet this challenge and deliver a fully developed requirements document in response to this need. Given our strong industry partnerships, ActioNet was able to broker two no-cost proof of concept pilots to narrow the mobile management offerings down from the two leading vendors. The speed and thoroughness of our ActioNet360® approach provided our customer the unique opportunity to rapidly respond and address an urgent need without investing time or resources in a solution that might not address their full range of requirements. Further, the requirements document ActioNet developed provided a strong basis for our customer to balance policy requirements for both government equipment and personally owned devices, clear outlining security policy, usage policies and rules of behavior.
