Vienna, VA – ActioNet, Inc. announced today the appointment of Fred Messina as Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer. A well-rounded leader in Aerospace, Defense and Government Services, Mr. Messina brings 30 years of experience in strategy, new business expansion, mission critical program management, and technology leadership for complex systems of national importance.

Prior to joining ActioNet, Mr. Messina served as Vice President for Booz Allen Hamilton. During his eight year tenure there, he held a series of firm-wide leadership positions in corporate and business development, including new business lead for Federal Civil accounts representing over 50 agencies. Prior to that, Mr. Messina held a number of officer and leadership positions in Government services and aerospace concerns to include SRA, TASC, and Raytheon.

Mr. Messina holds a Masters Degree in Mathematics from Boston College Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
