On Monday, February 16, 2026, the ActioNet Family spent the afternoon volunteering at Food & Friends in Washington, D.C., coming together in support of an organization that provides medically tailored meals and groceries to individuals living with serious illnesses. Each year, Food & Friends prepares and delivers over 1.6 million meals to approximately 5,300 clients across the region—made possible by volunteers and community partners. Proud to support an organization where food truly is medicine.
Throughout the shift, we worked side by side in the kitchen and packing areas, preparing fresh produce and assembling grocery bags that would soon be delivered to neighbors across the region. From sorting fruits and vegetables to packaging meals with care, every task played a role in ensuring clients receive nutritious food that supports their health and dignity.
The experience was hands-on, fast-paced, and deeply rewarding. The day served as a powerful reminder of the importance of community partnerships and service. We are grateful for the opportunity to support Food & Friends’ mission and proud of the ActioNet Family for contributing time and energy to make a meaningful difference.
