During one of the most challenging periods in our generation with the COVID-19 crisis and the major shift in how and where we work and interact with each other, we take great pride that our ActioNeters continued to support our community and helping others in need, never missing a beat in showing that we care and can help make a difference.  Team ActioNet’s participated in The National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) annual “virtual” Racing for 3.21 event!

Team ActioNet set a goal to raise $3,210 and exceeded the goal with $3,458 raised. Our team finished second overall in fundraising out of over a hundred other teams! ActioNeters covered a distance of 3.21 miles by running, hiking, biking along with other creative methods to show support. One event participant hopped on a pogo stick for three minutes and twenty-one seconds while another held a plank for that duration.

NDSS is the largest nonprofit in the United States dedicated to globally advocating for all individuals with Down syndrome. Their mission is to be the leading human rights organization for all individuals with Down syndrome and ActioNet is thrilled to be a part of it!  The event always results in a fun, creative and memorable experiences and the President of NDSS expressed her sincerest appreciation and support from Team ActioNet.  Special thanks to Bobby T., our Team Captain, for helping organize this event!
