Vienna, VA

ActioNet, Inc. announced today the award of the HUD Voucher Management System (VMS) contract. This system’s primary purposes are to collect and monitor Public Housing Agency (PHA) reporting on the aggregate leasing and associated costs of the Voucher Program. VMS collects PHA data that enables HUD to complete budget formulation, determine PHA calendar year funding eligibility, calculate Cash Management needs, obligate and disburse funding in a timely manner based on actual PHA use, and to monitor utilization of program resources.  The web-based VMS application facilitates electronic submission of monthly program data by the PHAs which makes the data accessible to users in the OHVP, REAC and Field Offices (FO). The objective of this program is to continue operation and maintenance of the VMS system and obtain IT development, modernization and enhancement (DME) support services to assist with improving HUD’s program accountability and product delivery to its customers and business partners through improved data integrity and efficiency of system processes.
