ActioNet, Inc. has been awarded a task order by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to support NOAA’s administrative computing and web operation centers. The program elements include Program Management, Systems/Network, Facility Infrastructure Support, and IT Security. ActioNet will provide services in support of NOAA’s critical computing infrastructure including the Financial and Administrative Computing Services (FACS), which operates the Information Technology Center (ITC), and the Web Operations Center (WOC).

ITC hosts and administers NOAA Financial and Administrative applications as well as NOAA instances of Department of Commerce (DOC) systems, such as Grants Online (GOL) and the NOAA Commerce Business System (CBS). The WOC is responsible for administering and supporting NOAA’s primary Web farm. The WOC provides direct support to users across the country and indirect support to users around the world. It acts as a data repository for NOAA where public information can be posted to a secure and scalable content server.
