Our DPBU Team has employees spread throughout the United States and around the globe. See how our ActioNeters celebrated their annual Winter Events world-wide.

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS

Two Teams from different Business Units combined forces outside of Boston to kick off the holiday season on December 4, 2016. Café Escadrille was the back drop for the festivities. PM Mark S. welcomed Ashley and Jeff as the distinguished guests. Buffet dinner, raffle prizes, and good company made it an enjoyable evening. Several team members including Steve S. were recognized for outstanding customer service. Highlight of the event involved dance moves to the popular hit “Can’t Stop the Feeling” and some Best Moves are immortalized on video.

MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA

Our local Support Team met on December 15, 2016 at Papa Roc’s Italian Grill. This lively bunch spiced up the event with an Ugly Sweater contest and showed their generosity with a Toys-for-Tots drive. Shout out to Julie A. for “winning” the Ugly Sweater contest but special mention to Brian F. and Tim R. for their twinning looks. Brian has an excellent attitude for holiday shopping: (1) Go to Wal-Mart (2) By the first sweater you see in your size, (3) Done. Priceless! Kudos to Fightress and Julie for pulling everything together and making it a fun evening.

OKINAWA, JAPAN

Roy’s Okinawa was the location for the Okinawa event on December 16, 2016. It was also attended by dignitary guests from ActioNet HQ, Ashley and Jeff. Hawaii-fusion restaurant, combined with a lovely view from the 5th floor, made the evening extra special.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

The Corona and San Diego team held their Winter Event at the stunning Thornton Winery in Temecula, California on January 14, 2017. The party started out with a glass of champagne and a tour of the winery. Guests got to see where the wine is pressed, stored, and the process for aging and bottling champagne. After the tour, the team sat down with the wine of their choice for a lovely three course dinner of salad, petite filet and chicken, and cheesecake. While everyone was enjoying their dessert, Mike W., Project Manager, thanked the ActioNet team for their hard work and dedication. A handful of door prizes were raffled off for the employees, which included a fellow ActioNeter from another Business Unit. The night was filled with laughter, great food and drinks, as well as a time to make new friends.

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS

On January 21, 2017 the Southern Texas crew gathered at Galpao Gaucho, a Brazilian Steakhouse. Dinner included a choice of 16 meat and fish items, sides of rice/beans/potatoes, salad bar, and desserts – flan, crème brulee, and cheesecake. Seemed like the servers never stopped making the rounds with delicious cuts of beef and chicken. Interesting how John G.’s plate lacked in anything green after his trip to the salad bar and how Ray B. managed to find room for dessert!

West Region Director, Butch P. made the introductory remarks. He welcomed Ray, who flew in from New Orleans to mingle with all the folks supporting Lackland AFB and Ft. Sam Houston. Our group filled the private room of the restaurant, enjoyed getting to know one another, and raffled off some fun gifts. Besides bringing their appetites, our team demonstrated the giving spirit by bringing canned goods for a local food pantry.

HONOLULU, HAWAII

On January 28, 2017, ActioNet Hawaii held their 7th Annual Winter Party at the Hawaii Prince Hotel: Bird of Paradise Restaurant. Spectacular views of the golf course and amazing sunset greeted the record turnout of 90 people! The delicious appetizers and dinner left many guests going back for 2nds and even 3rds. Gary M. and Kerry Y. led the fun group games following dinner, which was a great way to round out the evening.

FORT HOOD, TEXAS

Rounding out the Winter Event season was the group based out of Fort Hood. Not daunted over the restaurant closure of their first choice, PM Brian M. rescheduled at a new venue. On February 17, 2017, this team enjoyed a delicious meal at the Shogun Japanese Restaurant, north of Austin.
