A person holding change with a sign reading "make a change"

by Michelle B.

During one of the most challenging periods in our generation with the COVID-19 crisis and the major shift in how and where we work and interact with each other, we take great pride that our ActioNeters continue to support our community and help others in need, never missing a beat in showing that we care and can make a difference.

Team ActioNet supported the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) and its deep commitment to promoting diversity by sponsoring a fund drive from July 1 until July 31, 2020.  The goal was $2,500 in employee donations with a 100% corporate matching donation. EJI is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, challenging racial and economic injustice, and protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.  EJI provides legal assistance to innocent death row prisoners, confronts abuse of the incarcerated and the mentally ill, and aids children prosecuted as adults.

On behalf of ActioNet, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for the sponsorship you provided to our Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) fund drive. With your generous giving, we were able to surpass our goal of $5,000.00.  Employees donated $3,259.89 and company match of $3,357.69.  In total, ActioNet donated $6,617.58.  A huge success!

Our collective commitment to support our communities and each other has and will continue to make a difference.
