ActioNet, Inc. announced today the award of a five-year performance-based contract entitled DoD Education Activity-Pacific (DoDEA Pacific) Information Technology Division (ITD) IT Support Services to provide full spectrum IT support services for the schools and facilities located in Korea, Okinawa, and mainland Japan, including the DoDEA Pacific Director’s Office on Okinawa.  The DoDEA Pacific Procurement Division awarded the contract through a full-and-open competition.  “This is one of many Full & Open competitions that ActioNet won in 2013.  ActioNet has strong technical capabilities and financial stability and has consistently demonstrated our ability to bid, win and execute programs in support our customers’ missions,” said Ashley W. The DoDEA-Pacific is responsible for supporting the DoDEA mission in Guam, Korea, Okinawa, and mainland Japan. The DoDEA Pacific organization comprises 44 schools, four District Offices, and the Pacific Director’s Office and provides pre-Kindergarten through 12th-grade education to approximately 24,000 students.
